Toby Shine Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Toby Shine (Spencer, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ben Shine and Ernestine Shine; his wife Sylvia Rabinowitz; his daughters, Keven Shine Johnson (Randy) and Eva Shine (Kevin Schammel); his granddaughters, Samantha (Jarad) and Anna; his great grandchild Tobi Rose; his brothers, Bruce and Bernard; and his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Joey Schammel, Josh and Alisha Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Spencer Hospital Foundation.
