He was predeceased by: his parents, Sperry Wesley and Ida Mae Scott (Malasie); his brother Morris Scott; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Goodin and Sharon Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Waneta Scott of Guthrie Center; his children, Michael Scott (Julie) of Peru, IL, Elizabeth Gates (Tim) of Kankakee, IL and Laura Kemble (Scott) of Panora; his grandchildren, Maclain Scott, Phillip Scott, Molly Dalby (Brian), Andrew Gates (Heather), Josh Gates (Crystal), Sam Kemble, Jake Kemble and Annie Kemble; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Hazel Gates and Lane Dalby; and his sister Gloria Goodin. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Twigg Funeral Home - Panora (219 E Main St, Panora, IA 50216). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
