Terry Lee Gletty Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry Lee Gletty of Sperry, Iowa, who passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Terry may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Anderson and Wilma Anderson; her stepson Daniel Reese; and her sister Deb Woolison. She is survived by: her husband Rick Gletty; her daughters, Ammie Shafer (Nick) and Lisa Kreft (Charlie); and her siblings, Scott Anderson and Barb Turner. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three step children bringing six more bonus grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House, ALS Research Foundation and P.A.W. Animal Shelter.
