With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allan Duus of Spirit Lake, Iowa, born in Tyler, Minnesota, who passed away on July 26, 2023 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Allan Duus to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Hjarne Duus and Margaret Duus (Bovbjerg); his siblings, Gloria Grenz and Dave Duus; and his son-in-law Wayne Wiese.
He is survived by : his wife Lynda of Spirit Lake; his daughters, Terry Weise of Lake Park, Rebecca Hardenberger (Paul) of Hutchison, KS, Robin Nielsen (Mike) of Springfield, NE and Cara Beers (Jerry) of Brookings, SD; his grandchildren, Justin, Amanda, Jacob, Julia, Kyle Tricia, Jimmy, Shelby, Haley and Parker; and his brother Doug Duus (Judy) of Spirit Lake.
Through Alzheimer's, his mind may have left him, but his spirit lived on until the end.
