He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett Mize and Inez Mize (Tatro). He is survived by : his wife Marjie Mize of Spirit Lake; his daughters, Marie Lynn Mize (Keith) and Inez Yvette Bersie (Tim); and his grandsons, Spencer James Mize Dotseth and Keegan Everett Bersie-Mize.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (2317 32nd St, Spirit Lake, IA 51360).

Memorials may be made in Chuck's name and sent the Humane Society of Northwest Iowa, 607 28th St., Milford, IA 51351.

“There are no words to describe the loss of someone who has been a part of your life since your high school days and lived on into present day. Takes effort to stay connected, but people who treasure other people do that pretty effortlessly even though they no longer see one another on a routine basis.
