Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Leon Griffith McCoy of Spirit Lake, Iowa, born in Newell, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 100, on September 23, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis "Floyd" McCoy and Ora McCoy (Griffith); his wife Jeanne Estle; his children, Mark and Becki; and his brothers, Arnie and Bob.

He is survived by : his grandsons, Brent McCoy (Jess Stofferan) of Spirit Lake and Jeff Williams (Lorinda Vore) of Spirit Lake; his daughter-in-law Dee Dee McCoy of Spirit Lake; and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Nicholas, Andrea, Keira and Marcus.
