He was predeceased by: his parents, George Utech and Jennifer Utech (Attleson); his siblings, Shirley Berg, Carolyn Meyer and George A. Utech; his granddaughter Kayla Drey; and his parents-in-law, Fred and Rose Oltmanns.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Oltmanns of Spirit Lake, IA; his children, Linda Drey (Alan) of Sioux City, IA and Wayne Utech of Houston, TX; and his grandchildren, Amanda Dunkel (Edward) and Tyler Drey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rexwinkel Funeral Home - Le Mars (107 12th St SE, Le Mars, IA 51031). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rexwinkel Funeral Home of Le Mars (107 12th St SE, Le Mars, IA 51031).
