She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy and Ruth Guyer (Mohr); her husband Floyd Peters; her grandson Andrew Peters; her sister Leone Geary; her son-in-law Jim Rohlf; and her siblings-in-law, Lucille Deppe, Vince Geary, Richard Reid, Elmer Peters and Allan Deppe.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Keuter (Kim) of Dubuque, Karen Rohlf of Bennett, Kim Peters of Maquoketa, Kris Schoeberl (Brian) of Clear Lake, Karol Fike (Gary) of Westmoreland, Kansas, Steve Peters (Sherry) of Bellevue and Charlie Peters (Jenni) of Bellevue; her sisters, Beverly Reid and Ellen LaFrentz (Ron); and her sister-in-law Marcia Peters. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lavonne Peters Family and will be directed to the local Catholic Church community, Jackson County 4-H, and Jackson County Regional Health Center.
