She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Melchert; her parents, John Wall and Anna Wall (O'Meara); and her siblings, Robert Wall, James Wall, John Wall and Rosemary Lang.
She is survived by: her sister Joyce Dierks of Marion; and her children, Steven (Mary Louise), Barb Mysak (Scott) of Springville, Mike (Lorraine) of West Branch, Mary Jorth (Bruce), Lori Boyer (Steve) of Cedar Rapids, Patrick (Denise) of Mount Vernon and Rose Sesker (Steve) of Ankeny.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House.
