He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Dobling and Irene Dobling (Bicknese); his former wife Arlette Dobling; and his brother Richard Dobling. He is survived by: his wife Susan Fuller of Springville; his children, Tesha Dobling (Mark Floyd) of Marion and Brett Dobling (Karen Shebek) of Fairfax, Iowa; his stepchildren, Sarah Beckman (Brian) and Thomas (Jen); his grandchildren, Jessica Hoy (James) of Cedar Rapids, Broc Dobling (Mackenzie), Bryle Dobling (Allison) of Urbana, McKenzie Fuller of Denver, Taylor Fuller of Marion and Ty Fuller of Oxford; his great grandchildren, Violet, Bennet, Hux, Hudson, Jake, Jaret and Jimmy; his siblings-in-law, Gary Oster of Tipton, Iowa and Barb Dobling of Georgia; and his sibling's children, Brian Dobling, Michael Dobling and Mary Elizabeth Aloisio.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3855 Katz Dr, Marion, IA 52302). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established in Bob's honor to benefit several charities to be determined at a later date.
