He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emery Hillman and Joan Hillman (Allen) of West Union; his wife Rita McManigle of Stanley; his sons, Nathaniel Hillman of Davenport and Izak Hillman (Katie Frazer) of Oelwein; his mother-in-law Lynn McManigle of Stanley; his siblings, Marian Mallam, Michael Hillman (Pat) of Oelwein and Marvin Hillman (LaVelle) of Winthrop; his brothers-in-law, Ken Jr. McManigle (Deb) of Oelwein and Steve McManigle of Stanley; his grandchildren, Myles, Carston, Kenndon, Izabelle, Madilynn and Corbin; his friends, Jeanette Lillibridge and Keith Franks; his father-in-law Ken McManigle; and his brother-in-law Duncan Mallam. He was also cherished by his several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
