Patricia Ann (Mathisen) Sunberg Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann (Mathisen) Sunberg of Stanley, Iowa, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandson Matthew Sunberg; her parents, Stanley Mathisen and Dorothy Mathisen; her sister-in-law Donna (Russell Miller); her nephew Jim Mathisen; and also, Merrill and Maxine Sunberg.

She is survived by: her husband Dwayne Sunberg of Hamlin, Iowa; her children, Terry (Marla Sunberg) of Audubon, Tereasa (John Negrete) of Johnston, Tanya and Mike Lamb of Greenfield, Iowa; her grandchildren, Amanda Young (Sam) of Exira, Melissa (Kyle Tena) of Norwalk, Danielle (Yoti Boutsalis) of Pleasant Hill and Colton Thomas of Mitchellville, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Matty Young of Exira, Hailey Young of Exira, Garrett Tena of Norwalk, Nora Tena of Norwalk and Nikos Boutsalis of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; and her siblings, Don (Wanda Mathisen) of Council Bluffs, Sandi (Ted White) of Augusta, Sharlene Lanktree of Basin, Steve (Raydene Mathisen) of Audubon and Arlene Jorgensen of Missoula, Montana. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family prefers memorials to the Audubon Fire and Rescue Department.
