It is with sadness that the passing of Stan Heidemann of Stanley, Iowa is shared. Stan, born on January 5, 1948, passed away on August 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis J. Heidemann and Gladys W. Heidemann (Petersen); his sister Joyce; and his brother-in-law Henry Ford. He is survived by: his brother Dale Heidemann (June); his son Sandy Heidemann (Julie); his grandchildren, Hunter LaFollette (Hannah), Brady LaFollette, Cole LaFollette (Samantha) and Riley LaFollette; his daughter Kristin Merfeld (Terry); his grandchildren, Lauren and Emily; his former wife's children, Nichole Bryant (Scott) and Brendan Tabor (Ashley); his former wife Ina Hubbard-Heidemann; Charlie, Lilah, Wesley, Amelia, Adriana and Vivian. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stan's memory to the Newton Athletic Booster Club, Kellogg Lions Club or First United Methodist Church.
