She is survived by: her mother Betty Valentine (DeHaan) of Sioux Center; her husband David Shipley; her children, Tyler Shipley (Kara) of Carroll, Jake Shipley (Melissa) of Urbandale and McKenzie Harreld (Clayton) of Huxley, Iowa; her grandchildren, Calvin Blake Harreld, Kinley Grace Harreld, Elsie Mae Shipley, Sadie Belle Shipley and Wes David Shipley; her siblings, Wally Valentine (Linda) of Sioux Center, Arlene Griffioen (Ed) of Okoboji and Glenda Van Meeteran of Hull, Iowa; her mother-in-law Darlene Cory (Shipley); and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Shipley (Kendra) of Marshalltown, Darin Shipley of Marshalltown, Doug Shipley (Jennie) of Ankeny and Dixie Staecker (Tom) of Carlisle, Iowa..

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cornerstone Church (3425 Turing St, Ames, IA 50010). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
