She was predeceased by: her parents, Errol Speer (Lillian) and Beatrice Speer (Hanno); her husband Larry Poling; and her sons, Lynn and Gary.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Gibbs of Colo, IA, Lance Poling (Mandee) of Burnett, TX and LuAnn Clatt (Dennis) of Colo, IA.; her grandchildren, Ashley Cran (Bill) of Ames, IA, Brittany Jones (Kasey) of Zearing, IA, Tanner Clatt (Rylie) of State Center, IA, Jacob Clatt (Kenadie Betz) of Colo, IA, Preston Poling (Hannah Rockwell) of Burnett, TX, Lexi Poling of Burnett, TX and Taylor Poling of Burnett, TX.; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, William Cran, Brady, Hadley, Gentry Jones, Kambren and Koven Clatt; her siblings-in-law, Alan Poling (late Jeanette), Kenneth Poling (Penny), Carolee Volker (Dennis) and LeaAnn Hitchings; her siblings, Betty Foss (Alan), Doris Kaisand (Kenneth), Edward Speer, Bill Speer, Eugene Speer and Steven Speer (Jeannie); and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Abbas, Jeanette Poling, Jerry Poling and Ricki Poling.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home - Marshalltown (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
