She was predeceased by : her parents, Claus Sterler and Ardis Sterler (Huls); and her siblings, Irene Sterler, Betty Ketterling, Clarice Roth, Robert Sterler and Henry Sterler.

She is survived by : her children, Dan Maloy (Angie), Fonda, Patti Bruck (Eric), Staci Maloy and Dana Vennink; her grandchildren, Tiffany Nelson (Aaron), Mark Bruck and Nate Titus; and her great grandchild Caitlin Nelson.
