He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Crampton and Opal Crampton; and his siblings, Eula Mae, Bonnie, Donald and Herbert.

He is survived by : his wife Irene Elaine Belt; his sons, Dr. Randy Crampton (Cheryl) of Storm Lake and Rick Crampton (Carol) of Kiron; and his grandchildren, Ben Crampton (Mahanaim) of Schleswig, Ryan Crampton of Beverly Hills and Taylor Crampton of Des Moines, Iowa..

“Bob Crampton was a second Father in our family.... many times in my life both growing up as a kid and as an adult if there was a need, Bob came to lend a hand unconditionally and with no limitation, but most of all with a kindness and laughter to bring any situation to a great conclusion.... My Grandfather Alvin Johnson and my Father William Dixon were active in Wall Lake as Masons, since both had passed away Bob Crampton stood for me into the Masonic Lodge and Shrine Temple.... Rest in Peace...”
