He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Scribner and Margaret Scribner; his brother-in-law Randy Martin; his significant other Diane Dittmer; and his great-nephew Nicholas Scribner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Deborah Dyer, Catherine Martin and Richard Scribner. He is also survived by four nephews and one niece.
