He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Paulson (Bob) and Pauline Paulson (Mars); his parents-in-law, Elwood and Ethel Williams of Iowa Falls; his siblings-in-law, Carol and Merlyn Newberg of Montezuma, IA; and his nephew Mike Newberg of Gretna, Nebraska..

He is survived by : his wife Judy of Stratford; his children, Chad Paulson of Seneca, Illinois, Carrie Burns (Scott) of Prairie City and Christopher (Amanda Paulson) of Boone; his granddaughter Claudia Paulson (Ryan Smith) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his children, Caroline, Elizabeth Paulson of Pontiac, Illinois, Skylar, Jacob Burns of Prairie City, Morgan, Delaney and Cael Paulson of Boone; his sister Joanne Ratcliff (Bob) of Crystal Lake, Illinois; his siblings-in-law, Linda Schelling (Bob) of Marshalltown and Larry Williams (Laura) of Foristell; and his pet Rizzo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church in Ogden.
