She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hastings and Frances Helmers (Smith); and her sister Kathy Hersom. She is survived by: her children, Lori Neel (Dan Vega) and Mike Peterson (Deb); her grandchildren, Morgan, Austin, Brenna and Dalton; her boyfriend Lon Neese; and her siblings, Ron Helmers (Ruth), Denny Helmers (Mary), Judy Schulte, Linda Schlitt and Randy Hastings. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
