It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Carlson of Stratford, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Orville Olson and Marguerite Olson; and her aunts and uncles, Grant Olson, Rev. Andrew Oppedahl, Sumner Oppedahl, Eileen Larson, Norma Dorenkamp, Eleanore Grefstad, Anna Jane Johnson and Averill Monson.

She is survived by : her husband Leland Carlson of Stratford; her children, Marie Carlson of Ames and Lee Carlson (Tara) of Stratford; her grandchildren, Knox Carlson of Stratford, Aspen Carlson and Lakelyn Carlson of Stratford; her brothers, Norman Olson of Bode and Thomas Olson (Julie) of Bode; her sister-in-law Lornelle "Lori" Riley (Ted) of Emmetsburg; and her aunts and uncles, Eldon Monson of Livermore, Calvin Dorenkamp of Mason City, June Olson of Humboldt, Nancy Riggan of Orange City, Arda Oppedahl of Humboldt and Carolyn Oppedahl of Dubuque. She is also survived by many cousins, a niece, nephews.
