She was predeceased by: her mother Taletta (Sunde); her husband Dick; and her stepson Richard Allen Akins. She is survived by: her father David Gross of Eagle Grove; her grandchildren, Sarah Akins and Richard "Richie" Akins Jr.; and her siblings, Thersa Will (Francis) of Northwood, Wilma Hinz of Eagle Grove, Anna Snyder of Eagle Grove, Wanda Rutledge (Aaron) of Eagle Grove, William Gross of Eagle Grove and Walter Gross of Goldfield. She is also survived by two great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stratford Lutheran Church (824 Teneyck Ave, Stratford, IA 50249). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
