He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Frederick and Clara Marie Timmerman (Ahrens). He is survived by: his significant other Darla Kelchen (Parkinson); his children, Beau Timmerman (Randi) of Strawberry Point, Chase Timmerman (Olivia) of Strawberry Point, Lane Timmerman (Amanda) of Albia, Dusty Kelchen (Carla) of Mt. Vernon, Jessie Cooksley of Newhall and Jennifer Poppe of Marion; his siblings, Rita Crawford of Des Moines, LeRoy Timmerman (Anne) of Pleasant Hill, Barbara Hobbie (Doug) of Zion and Rozella Green (Bill) of Strawberry Point; and his godmother Luella Linderwell (Howard Boswell) of Dothan, Alabama. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
Del had been with his beloved partner and best friend, Darla (Parkinson) Kelchen, for 27 years.
