He is survived by: his children, Mike Gibbs of Strawberry Point, Charlie Gibbs of Strawberry Point and Beth Gibbs-Ha (Tuan) of Whitebear Lake, Minnesota; his siblings, Edward Gibbs of Strawberry Point, Joseph Gibbs of Waterloo, John Gibbs (Janet) of New Albin and E. Jane Hazen (Rick) of Salem; and his brother-in-law Charles "Butch" Baker of Pendleton, Indiana. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
