She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; and her siblings, Gladys Cree (Clyde), Ruby Kramer (Paul), Eveah Sauerbry (Dean) and Warren Smith (Irene).
She is survived by: her children, Park Leachman (Cheri) of Harper's Ferry and Harriet Echternacht (Brandt) of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Lindsey Fuhrmeister (Brian), Jessica Echternacht and Heidi Echternacht; her stepgrandson Wayne Pugh; and her great grandchildren, Lucille and Lukas Fuhrmeister. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Strawberry Point Methodist Church (202 W Mission St, Strawberry Point, IA 52076). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at the Cass Township Cemetery East Mission.
