We bid farewell to Donald Shoesmith of Stuart, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 10, 2025 at the age of 79. Donald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Shoesmith and Ruby Shoesmith (Warner); and his siblings, Gayle, Beverly, Phyllis and Richard.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie Stodden of Stuart; his children, Amy Shoesmith (Jay Bohm) of Dexter, Paula Beitz (Michael) of Dexter, Mark Shoesmith of Earlham and Janelle Teague (Donny) of Stuart; his sister Jerry Kirfman (Cliff); and his sister-in-law Helen Ann Shoesmith of Stuart. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Johnson Family Funeral Home - Stuart (123 NE 2nd St, Stuart, IA 50250).
