It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Leroy Matthews of Stuart, Iowa, who passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Matthews and Edtice R. Matthews; his siblings, Janice Barr and Bill Matthews; his siblings-in-law, Judy Murphy and Jack Deskin; his parents-in-law, Red and Darlene Clifton; Mike Kieler.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Matthews; his children, Shawn Matthews (Susan) and Dawn Matthews; his grandchildren, T. J. Matthews and Stacey (Justin Trevillyan); his great grandchild Bentley Trevillyan; his siblings-in-law, Sheryl Deskin, Georgia Coon (Denny), Bob Barr, Barb Matthews and Gene Murphy; Betty Kieler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.
