He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his son Kevin (Valerie Pieper); his grandchildren, Kadie Schuler and Jeremy Owings; his great grandchildren, Dalton (Diana), Clayton and Alicyn Vogel (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Lucas and Caitlyn Pieper; his great grandchildren, Griffin and Lachlan; his grandchildren, Stephanie Wells, Josh and Rachael Wells; his great grandchildren, James and Flynn; his grandchildren, Lauren and Brant Bonnesen; his great grandchildren, Aurora, Harper and Briar; his grandchildren, Lindsay Pieper, Jessica and Matthew Moss; his great grandchildren, Martin and Amelia; his son Brian (Candace Pieper); his grandchildren, Sunny and Chris Brown; his great grandchildren, Violet, Ivy and Sage; his grandchildren, Beau Pieper (Mary) and Izzy Pieper (Zac); his son Darin (Carole Pieper); his grandchildren, Betsy, Jesse Pieper-Ledbetter, Jake and Ashley Conner; his great grandchildren, Rhiley, Daisy and Laehn; his son Ben (Kim Pieper); his grandchildren, Olivia and Lincoln; his siblings, Annette (Embree Edgington), Lori (Jerry Southmayd), Leo (Jeri Pieper), Marty (Sandy Pieper) and David (Diana Pieper); his brother-in-law Verle (Shari Van Der Sluis); and his friend Paul. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

Memorial contributions will be divided equally between the Stuart Public Library, the Stuart EMT, the Stuart Fire Department, and Stuart Police Department Community Programs.
