He was predeceased by: his parents, De Rue (LD) and Genevera Gilman; his wife Mary Ellen Gilman Kasbohn of Patrick's Catholic Church; his sons, Scott and Brad Gilman; his siblings, Bruce Gilman and Sheila Gilman O'Riley; and his granddaughter Jennifer.
He is survived by: his children, David Curtis Gilman, Troy and Brenda; his daughter-in-law Brenda Shatswell Gilman of Oklahoma; and his sister Doris Bench.
As a member of the Masons, Steve exemplified the values of brotherhood, charity, and truth.
