We bid farewell to Leota Ruff of Sumner, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Leota touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lang and Della Lang (Hardin); her husband Bill; her sister Iris Fuhr of Kewanee; her grandson Joshua Ruff; and her great grandchild Haiden Landis.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Barber of Goodyear, Arizona, Daryl Ruff (Jackie) of Westgate and David Ruff (Lamphueng) of Reno, Nevada; her grandchildren, Liza Landis (Anthony) of Westgate, Emily Ruff of Nashville, Tyler Ruff of Goodyear and Kaitlyn Ruff of Gilbert, Arizona; and her great grandchildren, Braxton Landis, Braiden Landis and Bexington Landis.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (280 Main St, Westgate, IA 50681).
Memorials may be directed in her name to St. Peter Lutheran Church or Westgate Fire Department.
