He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Paul and Hilda Margaret Fink (Hill); his children, Brian Kent Fink and Jane Fink; his wives, Dorothy Fink and Aryvlla Fink; his son-in-law Warren Mundy; his brothers, Arlen Fink, Lyle Fink and Dale Fink; his in-laws, Don Wuertz, Dorothy Elizabeth Fink, Gene Sieck, Eloise Michel, Albert Michel, Valada Smith, Bill Smith and Arnold Heilman; and his parents-in-law, Rosena and Paul Heilman.
He is survived by: his children, Deb Schemmel (JR) of Vinton, Jeryl Fink (Rhonda) of Sumner, Julie Schaff (Rudy) of Westgate and Linda Sparks (Curt) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Kyle Schemmel, Austin Fink (Katie Coughlin), Eric Fink (Jamie), Sarah Dang (Cuong), Anne Schaff, Rebecca Wagner (Peter), Carol Schrodt (Michael), Thea Schaff, Vance Mundy and Vinnie Mundy; his sister Alpha Wuertz of Longmont, Colorado; his sisters-in-law, Doris Sieck of Maynard, Janet Seay of Evansville and Eva Heilman of Evansville, Indiana; and his stepchildren, Dan Shere (Teresa) of Evansdale, Dianne Howe (Gordy) of Shell Rock and Emily Stensland (Jim) of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
