She was predeceased by: her father Paul Paine; her husband Richard "Dick" Fessler; her mother Ruth Willis (Amundson); her stepfather Glen Willis; her brother Gary Paine; and her grandparents, Jim and Doris Amundson.
She is survived by: her son Chad Fessler (Tonya); her grandchildren, Sierra Fessler, Alex Fessler, Keagan Fessler, Makia Miller (Bailey), Trinity Nichols (Zane), Zachary Doss, Kaylee Truax-Fessler, Taleigha Fessler, Harmoney Skiye (Caiden), Ja'Laura Fessler, Daniella Fessler, RJ Truax-Fessler, Cody Truax-Fessler, Tryston Fessler, Braydon Fessler and Remington Reason; her son Brian "BJ" Fessler (Amy); her grandchildren, Kaylea Fessler and Sharli Fessler; and her great grandchildren, Briella Muller, Beau Miller, Barrett Fisher and OakLynn Lau. She is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel (310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, IA 50428). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Clear Lake Cemetery (219 Main Ave, Clear Lake, IA 50428).
