It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Patrick Johnson of Swisher, Iowa, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Daniel Patrick Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Johnson and Alice Johnson (Dougherty); his brothers, Ed and Ken Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Jim Chalupsky and Sherry Johnson (Linda Johnson); and his parents-in-law, Bob and Kay Fandrey.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Johnson; his children, Fauna Fandrey and Ben Johnson (Mindy Seiffert); his siblings, Joan Chalupsky, Judy Nicholls (Jerry) and Don Johnson; and his sisters-in-law, Becky Johnson and Nancy Koontz (Fred). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and several close friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brosh Chapel (2121 Bowling St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
