It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lumir David Melsha of Swisher, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Jike" Melsha and Lilyan Melsha (Urban); his stepfather Harold Sirowy; his son Joe; his brother Bruce Melsha; and his siblings-in-law, Vincent, Alice Donovan, Denis, Dean Donovan, Richard Serbousek and Mary Anne Donovan.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ann Donovan; his children, Doug Melsha (Heidi), Mike Melsha (Shar) and Dean Melsha (Kris); his grandchildren, AJ, Travis Melsha, Ben (Loryn), Alex Richard and Kyle Saulsbury; his sister Lilyan "Ginger" Serbousek; and his daughter-in-law Lorraine Melsha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
