Norman Neal Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2025, at the age of 90, Norman Neal of Swisher, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Neal and Inez Neal (Vandee); his wife Doris Neal; his children, Janice Strickler and Rick Neal; and his siblings, John Neal (Alberta), William Neal, Margaret Fisher (Leo), Clara Vokt (Willard), Mabel Long and Mary "Madeline" Bell (Keith).
He is survived by: his children, Steve Neal and Karen McVeigh; his grandchildren, Leslie Strickler, Kathy Arndorfer, Amber Yates, Kimberly Dant and Duncan Yates; his great grandchildren, Janelle, Bridget, Natalie and Coraline; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Neal. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brosh Chapel - Cedar Rapids (2121 Bowling St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Anderson Cemetery (2594 120th St NW, Swisher, IA 52338).
Memorials may be directed to the Swisher American Legion in his name or to the family.
