Bloedel and Ann Alice Bloedel (Patterson); his daughter Ranay; his brother David Bloedel; his wife Kathy Ann West of Tabor, Iowa; his son Ian Bloedel (Janet) of Tabor, Iowa; his siblings, Bruce of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Brian (Rene) of Accomac, Virginia, Andrew (Cliff) and Roberta "Bobbi" of Monett, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Beau of Tabor, Iowa, Wren of Tabor, Iowa and Kitt of Tabor, Iowa. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
