He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjori Jean Schaffer (Maxwell) and Cecil Schaffer. He is survived by: his child Hastings; his wife Andrea Schaffer of Tabor, Iowa; his children, Michael Schaffer of Woodward, Iowa, Brian Schaffer of Durango, Colorado and Sara Wiese of Elkhorn, Nebraska; his stepchildren, Zach Bond of Tabor, Iowa, Tristen Emery of Hopkins, Missouri and Shay Ash (Quentin) of Collinsville, Oklahoma; and his sister Norma Schaffer of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and his daycare grandchildren.
