He is survived by: his children, Bradley Wanatee, Zachary Wanatee (Lyrik), Courtney Wanatee and Brandon Wanatee Jr.; his grandchildren, Evangeline, Maxwell and Forrest; his siblings, Rose E. Wanatee, Natalie Wanatee, Clyde K. Wanatee, LeAnn Morgan, Leland Morgan and Linda Morgan; his nieces and nephews, Shayna Wanatee, Aurelia Morgan, Conklin Morgan, Joseph Thompson, Jordan Thompson and Daevon Morgan; and his uncle Michael Wanatee Jr..
A wake was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Eagle Clan Ceremonial Building. A graveside service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Meskwaki Cemetery.
