She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Mitchell and Frances Mitchell (Sanache); her husband Elmer Troxell; her children, Vince Troxell and Linda Troxell; her granddaughter Sierra Troxell; her great grandchild Roman Jimenez; her siblings, Lavern Mitchell, Lois Mitchell, Sandra Mitchell and Miriam Wanatee; and her close friend Ronnie "Cracky" Rutledge.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Brown (Kirby) of Tama, Elmer Troxell (Sandra) of Toledo, Marcellus Troxell of Tama, Mary Troxell of Toledo, Rebecca Garcia (Ruben) of Tama, Jared Troxell of Tama and Caleb Troxell of Toledo; her siblings, Joyce Wolfe of Tama, Marcellus Mitchell of Tama, Roberta Hale (William) of Garwin and Yvette Davila of Des Moines; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Wanatee Sr. of Tama and Patsy Troxell of Ill. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home (209 E 7th St, Tama, IA 52339).
