She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brezina and Rose Brezina (Balvin); her brothers, Edward, Leonard and Joseph Brezina; and her sister-in-law Lillian Lund.

She is survived by: her son Don Pope of Fairfield, IA; and her siblings, Bernard Brezina (Sharon) of Tama, IA, Richard Brezina of Cedar Rapids, IA, Rosalie Hartkemeyer of Belle Plaine, IA, Marjorie Emerson of Belle Plaine, IA, Marcella Cline of Swisher, IA, Arlene Tubbs of Swisher, IA and Caroline Zach of Cedar Rapids, IA..
