She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Dufour and Lucille Dufour (Trepanier); her husband Jess Duane Brown; her sisters, Patricia Burroughs (Don) and Geraldine Hayek (George); and her nephews, Patrick Burroughs and Jerry Dufour.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff Brown (Diane) of Chanhassen, Minnesota, Kathy Staker (Daryl) of Tama, Iowa, Thomas Brown (Lisa) of Gainesville, Georgia and Kristin Karkosh (Ron) of Wesley Chapel, Florida.; and her siblings, Mary Johnson (Dana) and Joel Dufour (Phyllis). She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
