He is survived by: his former spouse Candi Neimeyer; his stepdaughter Christina; his wife Sharon Chyma Feisel; his stepchild Shannon Feisel; his children, Michael Niewahner (Robyn) and Chrissy Anderson (Steve); his stepson Lanny Feisel (Missy); his grandchildren, Kayla Wilson, Dakota Sheriff, Lane, Wyatt and Harper Feisel; his great grandchildren, Ivy, Cole, Jackson, Oliver, Rowan, Liam, Levi, Rhatt and Knox; and his siblings, James Niewahner (Linda), Gayle Starks and Renee Rohlman (Mitch).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (900 Park St, Tama, IA 52339). A vigil service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. He was able to remain in his home for 5 years until 2021 when he contracted COVID and spent two months at the VA hospital.
