She was predeceased by: her parents, William Spalding and Gwendolyn Spalding (Glass); her grandson Nicholas Murty; her sons-in-law, Mike Gunter and Andrew Suchanek; and her brother Richard Spalding.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Gunter of Neosho, Dana Hanus of Tama, Penny Blink of Grinnell, William "Bill" Murty (Margaret) of Asbury, Steven Murty (Monica Smith) of LeClaire and Robin Murty-Long (Eric) of Davenport; her grandchildren, Shantel, Nikki, Saranne, Cody, Lawrenza, Brittany, Bryan, Timbre, Dayton, Sheldon, Alexis, Natalie, Claire, Jared and Brooke; and her siblings, Warren Spalding (Marti), Helen Marie Fowler and Heidi Price (Robert).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 1105 E 5th St, Tama, IA 52339.
