He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Tesar and Nelda Tesar Duhachek (Strachan); his stepfather Charles Duhachek; and his nephews, Chad Tesar and Dicky Tesar.
He is survived by: his children, Krista Totagamuwa (Sahan) of Waukee, IA, Kelsey Hart (Paul) of O'Fallon, MO and Matthew Hartgers of Wasilla, AK.; his grandchildren, Anisha, Nimesh Totagamuwa, Jack and Beau Hart; his pet Teddy; his brothers, Dick Tesar (Alice) of Cape Coral, Dave Tesar (Deet) of Toledo, Tom Tesar (Jane) of Tama and Darrell Duhachek (Maureen) of Illinois; his mother-in-law Millie Van Soelen of Toledo; and his siblings-in-law, Scott Van Soelen (Gayla) of Grinnell and Lynn Stafford (Phil) of Tiffin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great friends.
A memorial fund will be established.
