It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Rae Culbertson Mason of Tama, Iowa, who passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Pelham and Neda "Minnie" Pelham; her brother Mahlon "Pinkie" Pelham; her husband Bob Mason; her granddaughter Shelly Thomazin; and her great grandchild Sydney Culbertson.

She is survived by: her children, Diana Culbertson (Chicago), John Culbertson (Toledo) and Jill (Allen); her stepchildren, Cathy (Russ), Hass (Sac City), Merrill (Ann) and Mason (Washington); and her grandsons, Jason Culbertson (Missy) and Jonathan Keahna Cowles (Lacey).

A memorial fund will be established.
