He is survived by: his children, Kristi Bolen (Robert) of Conrad and Brandon Callahan (Tashina) of Adel; his grandchildren, Hannah Callahan, Marshal Callahan, Tristan Simmons, Landon Anderson, Kurt, Kris, Kyra Kvidera, Lincoln and Lillian Harford; his great grandchild Layla Jimenez; his sister Debbie Roberts (Jeff) of Tama; his brother-in-law Dan Malcomson of Newton; his close friend Maria; Matthew. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
