With sadness, we share the passing of Wanda Elene (Smith) Arp of Tama, Iowa. Wanda, born on October 12, 1946, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Smith and Kathleen Smith (Bidwell); her granddaughter Savannah Arp; and her brothers, Ronald Smith and Wendell Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Dean Arp of Tama; her children, Aaron Arp (Maria) of Tama, Whitney Earles (Robert) of Toledo and Jason Arp of Tama; her grandchildren, Christopher Earles (Sarah), Cortney Arp (Bryce McCollister), Cody Arp (Lauren), Garrett Arp, Logan Arp and Sydney Arp; her great grandchildren, Mylo, Casey Arp and Chase McCollister; her brothers, Vernon Smith of Tama and Lloyd Smith of Toledo; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Smith of Tama and Marlys Smith of Gilman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home (209 E 7th St, Tama, IA 52339). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Tama American Legion (1105 E 5th St, Tama, IA 52339).
A memorial fund will be established.
