He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Wieland and Gertrude Wieland (Vonnahme); his brothers, Arthur Jr. and Donald; and his nephew Brian (Linda Wieland).
He is survived by: his wife Frances Wieland of Dedham, Iowa.; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Riesenberg, Jane Peter and Carol Irlmeier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
