He was predeceased by : his cousins, Marian Platte and Larry "Hawk" Elvebak (Clarine); his parents, Ernest Wipplinger and Alvina Wipplinger; and his sister Marilyn (Glenn Harkness).
He is survived by : his wife Carol; and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Puckett and Dorothy Spence. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Thompson Fire Department, the Zion Lutheran Church in Thompson, or to the Our Savior's Cemetery fund in Kiester, Minnesota.
