As we bid Marilyne farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marilyne is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Porter and Thelma Porter (Kesler); her husbands, Charles Countryman and Jerry Thompson; and her brother Ronald Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Countryman (Marcy) of Estherville, IA, Vicki Larson (David) of Cambridge, MN, Cindi Hanson (Rick) of Ringsted, IA, Jill Countryman (Bill Nowaskey) of Woodstock, IL and Cathy; her brother Dennis Porter (Rolaine) of Red Wing, MN; and her sister-in-law Karen Porter of Armstrong, IA.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
